Jesus healing the man born blind is one of my favorite Bible stories. The man states, “I was blind, but now I see.”
I often feel the same way. I get so wrapped up in the busyness of life, I forget to truly see. When I take time to stop and really look, then I can really see, and I am thankful.
Every day I see students from all over the country. I see students from San Antonio, Detroit, Kansas City, Dallas, Orlando, and Los Angeles. I watch them go to class, I see them worship in chapel, I see them help and love and encourage each other. I see them, and I am thankful.
I see them study together, pray together for each other, go to work, eat together, and cheer for each other. I see them as they cry, as they share their burdens, and as they miss their families. I see them trust God enough to follow His plan for their lives. I see them, and I am thankful.
I see dedicated and godly professors, staff, and crews who are humble servants. I see them, and I am thankful.
I see a campus built by founders with a great vision. I see it, and I am thankful.
I see pastors and churches tell their students about Baptist Bible College, support BBC, and pray for us. I see them, and I am thankful.
I see people who give, allowing BBC to exist. I see you, and I am thankful.
Let me encourage you to open your eyes and see what God has done at BBC. You will be thankful too.
