The TXBBF met at the Menger Hotel in San Antonio, TX, Monday and Tuesday, January 17-18, 2022. The theme for their Fellowship Meeting was “Resilient.” Preachers included Bruce Garner, pastor of CrossPoint Church in Huntington Beach, CA, Lonnie Lehrman, pastor of Granbury Baptist Church in Granbury, TX, and Linzy Slayden, pastor of Friendship Baptist Church in Owasso, OK. Mark Milioni, president of Baptist Bible College, gave an encouraging report on the college. A special women’s fellowship was held simultaneously with Carla Slayden as guest speaker. The Fellowship Meeting concluded Tuesday night with a special live presentation from the Skit Guys.
Approximately 200 pastors, wives, and staff attended the meeting. Many shared encouraging reports. Lyndel Lee shared, “It was truly a wonderful meeting, and I truly needed it.” Gary Milbourne said, “I Love what God is doing in the TXBBF” David Chittenden commented, “It was great to be around so many preachers.” Clint Highfill stated, “It was a great time of encouragement, worship, and connecting. I am so blessed to be a church planter with the BBFI.”
The next TX BBF meeting will be April 4-5, 2022, at Ebenezer Church (Eben-Ezer Iglesia) in Denton, TX, hosted by Ulises Longoria.
