March and April have been busy months for the NCPO office. Preparations have been ongoing for the Spring Church Planting School in Richardson, Texas. School candidates are committed to attend, and it’s always exciting to be around these young church planters. The RPM (Revival, Prayer, and Momentum) Conference, April 19-20, will also be a part of the spring school.
Tom Wagoner will be challenging us about revival. John Arnold will be focusing us on prayer, and Charles Lyons will instruct us on the importance of momentum. Join us at Canyon Creek Baptist in Richardson and rev-up your church for growth.
Along with these preparations, Jason and I have been on the road in Virginia, Florida, and Texas encouraging pastors to lead their churches to become Church Bank churches. In all, 26 churches have agreed to get on board to help us raise $3,000,000 and replace the existing bank line of credit. Because of new federal requirements the bank is unwinding our unsecured line of credit, which simply means that as it pays down we cannot re-loan the money as we have in the past. This not only curtails our ability to help new churches, but it also greatly impacts our income. If you would like more information about becoming a Church Bank church, please contact us at 417-889- 1017 or by e-mail at office@bbfincpo.com.
God continues to bless our loan program as we have closed several loans and are working on others in New Hampshire, Ohio, Texas, Tennessee, and Florida.
The BBF Builders are busy working in Florida, Pennsylvania, Michigan, and Ohio. Pray for these good folks as they labor for our Lord. They are literally saving churches millions of dollars a year in construction costs.
