Put a unique spin on the “heart” of Valentine’s Day. Give people the opportunity to donate blood to help millions in need.
• Partner with the American Red Cross to set up a date and time for a mobile unit to be in your parking lot.
• Promote the drive throughout your community, as well as on your website and Facebook page.
• Enlist small groups to welcome donors to the drive, pass out coffee, invite them back for future events and services, and give them a Valentine—a piece of chocolate and a note of appreciation—as they leave.
