On Wednesday and Thursday, December 6-7, 2018 the Executive Committee of the BBFI met in Boston with Baptist Bible College president, Mark Milioni, Boston Baptist College president, Dave Melton, BBFI Mission Director, Jon Konnerup, BBFI Communication Director, Randy Harp, MANNA Worldwide president, Bruce O’Neal, BBFI Associate Mission Director, Craig Stevenson, and MANNA Worldwide North America Director, Jason Harmeyer.
Jason Hodges, a StratOp facilitator with The Paterson Center, helped guide the two-day strategic planning retreat. BBFI president, Tim Adrian, said of the meeting, “I am leaving more excited than ever about the future of the BBFI.” Many details from the meeting will be shared in the near future but the five primary action initiatives include:
- Establish a plan to restore confidence in the Fellowship, it’s leaders and entities.
- Develop a plan to clarify and communicate vision for the BBFI.
- Assess, clarify and re-align the structure of the BBFI.
- Identify the steps to qualify, promote and fund church plants.
- Develop a church revitalization strategy that includes training and coaching for pastors.
