Missions Was the Theme of a Southwest Missouri Youth Rally

SPRINGFIELD, MO—On Friday, March 7, 2025, the BBFI Mission Office joined churches from across Southwest Missouri for a youth missions rally at Seminole Baptist Temple. The event challenged and encouraged students in their faith, emphasizing boldness and the call to missions.

Chad Braymer, a BBFI Associate Mission Director, delivered the keynote message. He urged students to “Speak with Boldness” in their daily lives and walk with Christ. He also encouraged them to prayerfully consider God’s call to missions and emphasized the need for new laborers in the harvest field.

A highlight of the evening was a Q&A session featuring testimonies from veteran missionaries, including Matt and Ericka Moeller, who serve in Scotland, and Nicko and Denise Guyer, who serve in Guatemala through the WIN initiative. Two creative access missionaries also shared powerful stories of ministry in restricted areas, providing insight into the challenges and rewards of serving in difficult regions.

Churches from across Missouri participated in the rally, demonstrating a collective commitment to raising up the next generation of missionaries.

“If we believe that the next generation of missionaries for our movement will come from our student ministries, we have to continually keep missions in front of them,” said Kevin Kolb, pastor of Seminole Baptist Temple.

The BBFI and the BBFI Mission Office remain committed to equipping and inspiring young people to engage in the Great Commission.
