Lifepoint Baptist Church, pastored by Mike Brinson, hosted “Dedication Sunday” on September 9, 2018. On this day, Lifepoint dedicated the building, its furnishings and the people. They were blessed to have numerous guests involved in the dedication. Guests included: Centerton Mayor, Bill Edwards and wife, Elizabeth; Building Contractors; Public School Ignite Construction Management Group led by Chris Weeks; BBF Builders (Jack and Sharron Reed / Charles and Debbie Rogers / unable to attend, Ron and Barbara Trosclair); BBC Cares’ Team lead by Randy Bates; The Friendship Builders from Owasso, OK; Brinson’s father, Ray Brinson; and BBFI Communication Director, Randy Harp. Brinson’s father led the church in the reading of the dedication. Harp made a presentation to the church on behalf of the BBFI. After the service, the people of Lifepoint served a celebration meal for all in attendance. This was also the 10-year anniversary of the church.
This is Lifepoint’s first owned facility, moving out of a storefront of 3,300 square feet, to their own new facility of 13,000 sq ft. This new facility is located on 5 acres in a growing residential part of their city. The church celebrated the miracle of God, building the facility for around $70 per square foott. The bank appraised the facility at $1.2 million.
July 29 was the church’s “Welcome Home Sunday,” the day they transitioned from their storefront to their new facility. September 16 was their “Grand Opening Celebration.”
The church is very appreciative of all the support they have received from numerous BBF churches and individuals to make this vision a reality. They pray God’s blessings on all who had a part.
