On March 11, 2025, pastors and ministry leaders from across Kansas gathered at Glenville Church in Wichita for the Kansas Baptist Bible Fellowship meeting. Pastor Bruce Thomas hosted the meeting, which provided an opportunity for encouragement, fellowship, and leadership development.
Special guests included Kim Beckham, retired pastor of Central Baptist Church in Tyler, TX, and founder of Kim Beckham Collaborative Leadership, as well as Randy Harp, Director of the BBFI Central Office.
Kim Beckham led sessions on key leadership topics, challenging attendees with insights on:
- Leadership Mastery – Essentials for Effective Leadership
- Teams May Be the Most Powerful Thing You Ever Create
- Delegation – Master the Art of Growing by Helping Others Grow
- Leading a Praying Church
Beckham’s experience and wisdom resonated with the group, offering practical guidance on developing strong leadership, building effective teams, and fostering a culture of prayer within the church.
In addition to these impactful sessions, Randy Harp provided an update on the health and progress of the BBFI. He shared encouraging reports on the fellowship’s ongoing efforts, highlighting momentum in church planting, missions, and leadership development.
Host pastor Bruce Thomas expressed his appreciation for the meeting, stating, “It is always great to get together with other ministry leaders and to be challenged to grow in our leadership. Kim did a great job of both teaching and challenging us.”
Fellowship around the table was also a highlight of the gathering. The Glenville Church team provided a delicious homemade breakfast and a catered BBQ lunch that gave attendees more time to connect and encourage one another.
The Kansas BBF also committed to making a substantial investment in the BBFI Central Office. The Kansas BBF continues to be a strong and engaged network of churches, committed to leadership development, local and global ministry, and strengthening the BBFI for the future.
