Spokane, WA – On Sunday, September 22, 2024, Liberty Baptist Church in Spokane, WA, held a special ordination service for their pastor, Jordan Zeik. The ordination council was composed of family members, mentors, and pastors with whom Jordan had worked, either as a staff member or a volunteer. His uncle, Dennis Fountain, pastor of Moses Lake Baptist Church, delivered the ordination charge.
The evening was filled with emotion as the family reflected on the life of Jordan’s father, Jim Zeik, the church’s previous pastor, who passed away unexpectedly in February 2023.
Jordan was called to serve as pastor of Liberty Baptist Church in November 2023. He and his wife, Shari, plan to continue their ministry in Spokane. Jordan accepted Christ at the age of five and felt the call to ministry at 18. He was a member of Liberty Baptist Church until his high school graduation, after which he attended Baptist Bible College (now Mission University) in Springfield, MO, graduating in May 2021. Two months after graduating, he married Shari, and they began their ministry together. They served as youth pastors at Noble Hill Baptist Church in Willard, MO, under Pastor Dennis Mays before returning to Liberty Baptist Church in 2023.
