October 13-19, twenty-four members from Granite United Church partnered with MANNA Worldwide at the Love & Life Cancer Center in Tegucigalpa, Honduras. The trip leader was MANNA’s Andrew Even. The team visited and ministered to dozens of children who were admitted to the hospital in Tegucigalpa. Other areas of ministry included: serving four separate children’s feeding centers, providing feet washing, lice application, distributing over 100 pair of MANNA shoes, pouring concrete sections for a new church plant in Carpintero, painting, and beginning construction of a swing set. In addition, they also took part in visiting a half dozen homes where water filters were given along with the Gospel message.
