Fellowship Week 2024 – Presidential Perspective

BBFI President, Jon Haley, Reflects on Fellowship Week 2024

This year at Fellowship Week once again brought up the age-old question: which “inn” do you prefer? Mexican Inn, Hong Kong Inn, or the Village Inn. Which one is your favorite?

This year’s theme was biblical apologetics, a subject that is both profound and engaging. The sessions were designed to equip church leaders with the knowledge and skills to address common questions and challenges facing the church today.

The Church Planting Hour, led by Randy Abell, was another standout session, reminding us of the importance of continuing to invest in church planting.

Jon Konnerup and the Mission Office staff invited us to attend the Grand Opening of the new Mission Office. WOW! We were all blown away by the state-of-the-art facility and the amazing development of this beautiful property.

The week reached its pinnacle with Jim Baize’s inspiring commencement speech. He captivated the audience with a powerful challenge. I texted someone immediately and said I was ready to take the hill with him.

Dr. Milioni and the entire Mission University team hosted a fantastic meeting. Mission University once again was a gracious host and provided a great week of encouragement and training. I left the meeting excited to meet back in South Dakota in September. I pray you plan to attend and bring your spouse and staff.
