I am thankful to Otis Ledbetter and Sonrise church, as they were amazingly gracious hosts for the 2023 September National Meeting. The church went out of its way to make everything memorable and to provide an environment of fellowship, encouragement, and worship.
I walked away with several takeaways.
- The colleges are beginning to grow and thrive and have outstanding leadership.
- The Mission Office continues to overproduce and support our missionaries tremendously.
- God is using Project 938 to rally the BBFI to pray for more laborers, and I believe we are beginning to see the first fruits of those prayers being answered.
- The Central Office has proven to be a vital piece of the renewal of the BBFI. I pray more churches and State Fellowships will begin supporting this much-needed office.
- The BBFI is blessed with passionate pastors who boldly proclaim the Gospel changes everything.
- The last three Presidents of the BBFI still love, support, and partner with the Fellowship because of their love for the Great Commission and the pastors of the BBFI.
- The BBFI has regained a passion for planting churches locally and globally, and we must emphasize this, or we will die.
- I am blessed to serve alongside some great men of the Baptist Bible Fellowship on the Executive Committee. These men love Jesus and desire to see God continue to use this movement to build HIS KINGDOM.
- God is not finished with this movement.
- Don’t hike Half Dome during a thunderstorm.
- If we preach the Word, are empowered by the Spirit, and focus on the mission of making disciples, God will be glorified.
