Family Fellowship of Greenville, TX recently completed a significant remodel and pastor Paul Blue calls it a major “win” for the church. The church had been planning to remodel in 2020, but recent growth moved their timeline up a year. Some of the updates include: exchanging stackable chairs to theater seating, moving the stairs that led to the balcony from the auditorium to a rear exit, new sound system, new carpet and a large, continuous projection screen that covers the entire stage area. In total, 150 seats were added to make room for growth in their two Sunday morning services. Blue states, “The best part is we were able to complete about 70% of the work on our own and paid cash for it all.”
Blue goes on to say, “I believe that having great facilities, along with having a great staff, great people, and a great commitment to God’s Word is what allows us to faithfully pursue our role in the Great Commission. Our church, almost 95 years old, has a great history, but I am confident our best days are ahead. We give God the glory for our growth, our ability to keep our facilities relevant and God-honoring in excellence, and for the resulting people who are saved, baptized, and who then partner with us to take the Gospel to the Nations!”
