The East Texas BBF met May 14-15 at Central Baptist Church in Tyler, TX. East Texas chairman, Robby Pollard states, “The theme for this year’s East Texas meetings is “multiply.” This meeting focused on multiplying leadership.” Monday evening, Brian Jenkins shared leadership principles to help understand the goal in leadership which is to lead people to understand their true identity in Christ. Tuesday morning, Kim Beckham led a two-hour DISC training seminar. The meeting also featured the first gathering of East Texas BBF “Next Generation Leaders.” The goal of this initiative is to engage, equip and encourage younger leaders in ministry.
The next East Texas BBF meeting will focus on “Multiply through Revitalization” and will be hosted by Cypress Creek Baptist Church in Cypress, TX pastored by Carl Hughes. This meeting will be August 13-14.
