On Tuesday, March 24, the BBFI Communication Office hosted an online pastor’s forum with close to 100 participants. The goal of the forum was to discuss ideas on ministering during the coronavirus pandemic.
Topics discussed included:
- Live Stream Options
- How to lead worship online
- How to stay connected throughout the week
- How to stay connected to staff
- How to shepherd online
- How to connect with children and youth
- How to stay connected to missionaries
Several pastors shared insights including Anthony Milas, Barry White, Dean Hughes, Kevin Kolb, Tim Adrian, Kyle Kicker, Tom King, Tom Demers, Jon Haley, Jeremy McCarter, and others.

There are two future online forums planned. Tuesday, March 31 at 2:00 PM (CST) is another forum to discuss general ministry ideas. A few specific topics that will be covered include: Planning for Easter Weekend, Online Accountability, and How to Increase Digital Engagement. You can register for this meeting by clicking here.
The second planned forum will be Thursday, March 26 at 2:00 PM (CST). The purpose of this online forum is to provide pro tips on live-streaming church services. Four different churches will be teaching and providing resources on this topic. To register for this event, click here.
