October 24-26, 2018 Baptist Bible College hosted its first of two “College Days” events. Nate Harmon, BBC’s Vice President of Student Affairs, says, “College Days is a special event held on campus where high school students are invited to see what BBC is all about. During their stay, guests are able to explore Springfield, hear challenging preaching, worship with one of our traveling worship teams, and figure out if BBC is the college for them.”
This year’s event included 75 guests from ten different churches. They were able to meet faculty, staff, and administration, attend classes and chapel. Gary Fuller, pastor of Gentle Shepherd Baptist Church in Lincoln, NE was the invited chapel speaker. No visit to Springfield would be complete with a trip to Lambert’s restaurant and their “throwed rolls.”
The second College Days of the school year is scheduled during the spring semester, March 20-22, 2019. For more information visit the College Days page on BBC’s website.
