Gulfport, MS – On Sunday, July 14, 2024, Bible Baptist Church in Gulfport, Mississippi, under the leadership of Pastor Mike Spann, ordained their Family/Discipleship Pastor, Andrew York, into the Gospel ministry. The ordination council consisted of six BBFI preachers with whom Andrew had served either on staff or during internships. Pastor Spann delivered the ordination charge.
A significant highlight of the event was the presence of Andrew’s father, Kent York, a BBF church planter, pastor, and evangelist, who was also part of the ordination council.
Andrew York, along with his wife Brooke and their two sons, Solomon and Thomas, will be relocating to Ann Arbor, Michigan, in August. There, they will plant a church in collaboration with APEX, BBF Church Planting, and the Michigan BBF. Bible Baptist Church of Gulfport, MS, is their sending church, and Beacon Baptist Church, pastored by John Reilly, is their sponsoring church in Michigan.
